Picoprojector Poised for Rapid Growth

The market for picoprojectors has now started and we expect several hundred thousand units to be sold this year, rising to over 11 million by 2013.

In addition, a wide variety of picoprojection technologies are in the running to claim market share. The report provides a forecast breakdown by these classes of picoprojector, by power ranges and by illumination source technology. While higher power, accessory products are more common today, that will shift to lower power, more compact embedded products going forward.
