Ken,
Just read your most recent post on Display Daily . I just wanted to thank you for the belly laugh…... I talked to Chris Chinnock briefly at SID to pay you guys a compliment, and I'll pass it on to you. The quality of this blog is sincerely appreciated. The depth of reporting is great. More impressive and refreshing, however is the quality of writing and thoughtfulness of the articles. I've not come across anything comparable. Keep up the good work.
A.S.

Chris,
I wanted to take the time to personally thank you and congratulate you on a job well done in your last 2 articles posted -- the one on Taiwan 3D participation, and the other showing the present deployment of 3D theater screens worldwide, and the associated technology behind them. Both were extremely useful in business discussions that I have had in the past 2 weeks. Thank you again, and keep up the good work.
B. B.

Steve,
I like your Display Daily columns and seldom miss reading them. Also your last " No Bucks, No Buck Rogers" Sony Drops FED for Good.

Just a note of thanks for your positive, upbeat article which well reflects the encouraging essence of Insight Media. We certainly do appreciate receiving your insightful articles and daily wisdom…...
Thank you, again,

3D Spec to Hit the Streets by Year’s End
By Aldo Cugnini

Back in January, we made the case for a unified 3D disc standard, saying that we can’t afford a disc format war. It now appears that a major step in that direction is at hand. Earlier this month, the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA) announced its plans for incorporating 3D into the Blu-ray Disc format.

Sony Prepares to Enter the Third Dimension
By Art Berman

Many of Sony’s initiatives over the past few years have been only modestly successful. Clearly the company would really like a new product offering to hit a home run.
