3D Comm is scheduled for June 9-11 at InfoComm 2010, Las Vegas. This new event has been planned and organized by InfoComm and Insight Media, a leader in the monitoring and evaluation of 3D technology and markets.

The event consists of four main elements:

3D Exhibition Area
Special Showcase of 3D applications
3D Theaters
3D Seminars

The webinar will describe in more detail the layout of the exhibition, showcase and theater events, as well as the exhibitors and companies who have already agreed to participate. The combination of these components is designed to demonstrate the whole range of 3D ecosystem components, products and solutions – from 3D signage and 3D education, to encoding and display technology, to content creation and distribution. Attendees can see, touch and understand how this vast ecosystem is rapidly coming together to enable 3D solutions for home theaters as well as professional and commercial environments.

The seminar component of 3D Comm consists of twenty-one 60-90 minute seminars taught by experts in the 3D field. This may be the most comprehensive 3D educational opportunity for Pro AV professionals to date! Tutorial courses will be offered in basic, intermediate and advanced levels in all aspects of the 3D ecosystem. The emphasis will be on understanding the technology, applications and methods for system integrators, manufacturers and technology providers to participate in this growth segment. Hands-on learning is being encouraged. The webinar will describe these seminars in more detail.
